Pentart Fluid Medium 500 ml

Pentart Fluid Medium 500 ml

Fluid medium by Pentart is used to thin acrylic paints and create special fluid effects by pouring acrylic paints. Pouring medium creates what is known as a flowing paint effect, with puddles, unusual curves, and flowing drops that merge into one. Acrylic medium helps prevent the painting from being damaged by cracking, the formation of small air bubbles, or changes in the paint shade. Only the consistency and fluidity of the acrylic paint change. It preserves the overall wet look and completes what is known as a fluid painting. The pouring medium technique is for anyone who wants to create with unlimited possibilities.

HOW TO USE

Simply pour the fluid pouring medium into a cup with prepared acrylic paint, mix it with a plastic spatula, and pour it onto the canvas. It can be mixed with acrylic paints in a ratio of 5% to 50%, as needed. It is best to support the canvas so the excess acrylic paint has somewhere to drip. Turn the canvas to create beautiful poured patterns. For even better effects, you can use a pipette. Draw some paint into the pipette, drip it onto the canvas, and turn the canvas again. The painting will dry in approximately 24 hours. To speed up drying, you can use a heat gun. Find out more about the product in the video below.

OUR TIP

When creating, you can pour the individual shades into one plastic cup or separately onto the canvas. This will keep the acrylic paints more separate and give you better control over their flow as you tilt the canvas. To create cells in your painting, add a few drops of silicone oil to the acrylic paints. Make your result original by adding minerals or glitter powder. For a beautiful gloss, finish the fluid painting with a topcoat varnish or spray.
