Schmincke Super Granulation Watercolor Paint Set in Tubes, 5 x 15 ml

Set of Watercolors in Tubes Schmincke Super Granulation 5x15 ml | Set Desert

Horadam Super Granulation Aquarell Set contains 5 granulating watercolors in 15 ml tubes. The paints are stored in an elegant wooden box with the Schmincke brand logo. Artists increasingly favor granulating paints because of the special effect they create. The paints may look pale, but this effect is desired in certain techniques. Granulation means that the pigments in the paint “clump together” and create a distinct, grainy surface. This fantastic effect is ideal for creating beautiful works of art! The paints dissolve easily and are suitable for all watercolor techniques. The paints can also be easily mixed with other watercolor ranges from the Schmincke brand. To increase the granulating effect and achieve unusual color shifts, simply mix the granulating paints. We recommend testing beforehand, as some paints are more dominant while others have a subtler effect. The effect of the color change also varies depending on the mixing ratio and color range. As a rule, the rougher and more textured the paper, the greater the granulating effect. More absorbent papers require a little more water. Satin papers pressed hot are unsuitable.
