White Rim Overlook - Paint by Numbers Kit

A single wedge of dark juniper clings to the sandstone edge, and beyond it the Green River slides through Canyonlands as a flat ribbon of deep teal. This painting stands at the White Rim Overlook, where the whole canyon country opens below in broad terraced steps.

The palette is built from terracotta reds and pale bone-white ledges, with crisp midday light pressing the shadows into clean cobalt shapes. Mesas and buttes fade toward a hazy horizon under a thin line of white clouds. The large, readable color areas blend gradually inside each shape, so the layered rock walls feel sun-warmed even though the air looks cold and clear. A numbered reference sheet helps you keep track of the many rock bands as you work down the cliffs.

It suits beginners who want a landscape with clear shapes, and hobbyists who enjoy gradual blending across big stone faces. It also makes a good gift for anyone who loves national parks and the American Southwest. Start with the sky and the river, then build the canyon walls toward that dark juniper.
